Every year, San Diego celebrates the holiday season with the Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade. This Southern California tradition is billed as "America's largest balloon parade." Enjoy a procession of marching bands, floats, drill teams and balloons as they make their way through the beautiful bayside streets of downtown San Diego.
The grandstands for the parade are located in front of the Maritime Museum. Seats in the stands will give you the best view of the performances and can be purchased for $20 on a will-call basis. You can also view the parade from street-side anywhere along the parade route for free. The parade begins at 10am following the start of the Bumblebee 5K.
