Orchestra Nova will honor long-time donor Kathleen Davis with a private event August 25 at the Del Mar Racetrack near Rancho Santa Fe.
Day at the Races attendees will enjoy a Tuscan-inspired lunch, wine and champagne, and a fantastic view of the racetrack from Del MarÂ’s Star Fiddle Skyroom. Ticket sales will support Orchestra NovaÂ’s community music education programs.
Kathleen Davis, a Rancho Santa Fe resident and racing enthusiast, has been a major supporter of the eclectic music group for several years. Orchestra Nova performs throughout the San Diego area, winning over audiences with their unique blend of live performance, music education, art, and multimedia enhancements.
Del Mar Racetrack, in operation since 1937, is an American Thoroughbred horse racing track located in Del Mar, about seven miles outside Rancho Santa Fe.
